Do not harass, threaten, shame, stalk, or encourage others to target someone. Hate or dehumanizing content based on protected characteristics is not allowed.
Protect safety and privacy
Do not share private personal information without permission, sexualize or exploit minors, promote self-harm, make credible threats, or coordinate dangerous or illegal activity. Contact emergency services when someone faces immediate danger.
Share work you have the right to share
Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, and publicity rights. Credit original creators and use Plain’s rights and repost tools as intended. Do not remove attribution or misrepresent authorship.
Keep discovery trustworthy
Do not impersonate people or organizations, manipulate engagement, send spam, operate deceptive accounts, or publish fraudulent events, jobs, proposals, or commercial claims.
Adult and graphic content
Do not post pornography, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, or content whose primary purpose is shock. Contextual artistic, educational, or documentary material may be restricted or removed when needed for safety.
How enforcement works
Plain may remove or limit content, reduce distribution, warn users, disable features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or notify authorities where appropriate. Context, severity, history, and risk inform decisions. Use the in-app report, block, and mute tools, or email safety@theplainapp.com.
